NCP’s members of parliament-elect take oath

The newly elected members of parliament from the National Citizen Party (NCP) were sworn in on Tuesday afternoon.

The oath-taking ceremony began shortly before 1:20pm in the oath room of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban. It commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, after which Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin administered the oath to the MPs-elect.

Earlier in the afternoon, the newly elected MPs of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami also took their oaths as Members of Parliament.
