Former Awami League MP Sabina Akter Tuhin taken into custody
Tuhin faces multiple charges, including involvement in a murder case linked to last July’s uprising.

Former Awami League lawmaker for Dhaka-14, Sabina Akter Tuhin, was arrested early today from Nawabganj upazila in Dhaka.
Confirming the development, Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Detective Branch (South) Joint Commissioner Nasirul Islam said Tuhin was taken into custody around 2:30am.
According to him, Tuhin is facing multiple charges, including a murder case linked to last year’s July uprising.
After her arrest, the former MP was brought to the Detective Branch office on Mintoo Road for further questioning.
