Five killed in Kushtia road accident

Five people were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between a gas cylinder-laden truck and a CNG-run autorickshaw in Kushtia on Saturday.

The crash took place around noon in front of Kushtia Store’s Filling Station in the busy bypass area.

Three people, including the autorickshaw driver, died on the spot, while four passengers sustained critical injuries. Two of the injured later died while undergoing treatment at a hospital.
