Chief Adviser to meet seven more political parties this afternoon

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is scheduled to meet leaders of seven additional political parties at the State Guest House Jamuna today at 5pm.

The Chief Adviser’s press wing confirmed the development on Monday.

On Sunday, he held separate discussions with leaders of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Jamaat-e-Islami, and National Citizen Party (NCP) at the same venue on the upcoming national election and the country’s current political landscape.

During those meetings, the head of the interim government reiterated that the national polls will be conducted within the first half of February next year.
