Barcelona came from behind three times to secure a dramatic 3-3 draw against Club Brugge in their Champions League clash on Wednesday, with the visitors’ final equaliser coming from an own goal by 20-year-old Belgian defender Joaquin Seys late in the second half.

The result leaves Barcelona 11th in the standings with seven points from four matches, while Club Brugge sit 22nd on four points — both teams still in contention for qualification.

In a pulsating encounter at Brugge’s Jan Breydel Stadium, the hosts struck first in the sixth minute through Nicolo Tresoldi after a rapid counter led by Carlos Forbs. However, Barcelona responded almost immediately as Ferran Torres tapped in from close range just two minutes later.

Brugge restored their lead in the 17th minute with Forbs finishing off another swift break, but teenage sensation Lamine Yamal produced a brilliant solo effort in the 60th minute to make it 2-2.

Four minutes later, Forbs completed his brace to put Brugge ahead again, before Seys inadvertently headed into his own net while attempting to clear, allowing Barcelona to salvage a point on the road.
