Bangladesh and the US reaffirm commitment to stronger bilateral partnership

Bangladesh and the United States have reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The commitment was reiterated during a meeting between State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam and US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs S. Paul Kapur at the US Department of State on Monday, according to a message received here today.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed various issues related to bilateral cooperation and shared interests, highlighting the importance of expanding Bangladesh-US engagement across multiple sectors.

They also reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the longstanding partnership between the two countries through enhanced cooperation and constructive engagement.
