Australia bowled Bangladesh out for just 64 shortly after lunch on the opening day of the second Test in Mackay on Saturday, recording Bangladesh’s fourth-lowest total in Test cricket.

Veteran pacer Mitchell Starc led the destruction with a sensational 6-12, producing a superb display of swing and seam bowling.

Captain Pat Cummins claimed 3-25, while tailender Shoriful Islam was Bangladesh’s top scorer with only 14 runs.

Bangladesh had stunned Australia in the first Test in Darwin, securing a nine-wicket victory.
