Remittance inflows climbed to a record $32.8 billion in 2025—the highest annual total in Bangladesh’s history.
According to Bangladesh Bank data released today, the figure represents a 22 percent increase from the previous year’s $26.88 billion.
In December alone, inward remittances reached $3.22 billion, marking a 22 percent year-on-year rise and the strongest monthly performance in nine months.
