Prime Minister Attends Revenue Conference
Conference focuses on boosting revenue collection, enhancing tax administration and strengthening the country’s fiscal capacity.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman attended the Revenue Conference 2026 as the chief guest at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka on Tuesday morning.
Deputy Press Secretary-1 to the Prime Minister, Zahidul Islam Rony, confirmed his participation.
The conference was jointly organised by the Internal Resources Division of the Finance Ministry and the National Board of Revenue (NBR), with senior NBR and other relevant officials in attendance.
Discussions focused on boosting revenue collection, improving tax administration and strengthening fiscal resources to support the country’s economic needs.
