Police have launched an investigation after six children died at Ad-Din Hospital in Maghbazar

At least six children died at Ad-Din Medical College Hospital in the capital’s Maghbazar area on Wednesday morning, prompting police to launch an investigation into the incident.

Deputy Commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Ramna Division, Sheikh Zahidul Islam, confirmed the matter.

“We received information about the deaths of six children at Ad-Din Medical College Hospital. However, the exact cause is still unknown. Police are at the scene, and I am also heading there,” he said.

Law enforcement officials said they are investigating the incident and gathering information to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
