DC assures employment for Dipu Das’s wife, killed over alleged blasphemy

Grief continues to grip the home of Dipu Chandra Das, who was killed in an attack triggered by allegations of blasphemy in Bhaluka Upazila of Mymensingh.

Various agencies and organisations have been visiting the bereaved family daily, offering financial assistance and assurances of support.

On Monday, Mymensingh Deputy Commissioner (DC) Saifur Rahman visited Dipu’s residence on behalf of the district administration.

During the visit, he provided cash and food aid and assured the family that Dipu’s wife would be given employment.
