Army Chief Pays Courtesy Call on Chief Adviser

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman on Monday paid a courtesy visit to Chief Adviser of the interim government Professor Muhammad Yunus at the Chief Adviser’s Office (CAO) in Tejgaon, Dhaka.

During the meeting, the two exchanged greetings and briefly discussed issues related to carrying out responsibilities during the interim administration’s tenure. Prof Yunus conveyed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Army Chief for the cooperation provided by the Bangladesh Army throughout his tenure, particularly during the national parliamentary elections.
