Argentina has extended Eid greetings to the people of Bangladesh

Argentina has extended Eid-ul-Azha greetings to the people of Bangladesh, once again highlighting the growing bond between the two nations that goes far beyond football.

The official Facebook page and X account of the Argentina national football team shared a special Eid greeting card on Wednesday.

The post featured star footballers including Lionel Messi, Rodrigo De Paul and Emiliano Martínez alongside the national flags of Bangladesh and Argentina.

The caption read: “On behalf of the Argentine Football Association, Eid Mubarak to everyone in Bangladesh. May Eid-ul-Azha bring peace, happiness and endless blessings to every family.”

The immense support shown by Bangladeshi fans for Messi and Argentina during the 2022 FIFA World Cup had attracted global attention. From ordinary Argentine citizens to footballers and government officials, many in Argentina expressed admiration for the passion and affection displayed by Bangladeshi supporters.
