Abul Hasan Mridha appointed Bangladesh's new ambassador to Indonesia
The government has appointed Abul Hasan Mridha as Bangladesh's next ambassador to Indonesia, according to an office order issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The appointment was made through an office order dated Monday (6 July), which was published on the ministry's website on Wednesday.
Under the order, Mridha has been directed to assume his new responsibilities at the Bangladesh Embassy in Jakarta within the next six days in line with government regulations.
Mridha currently serves as Director General of the Administration Wing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He previously headed the ministry's Western Europe and European Union Wing as Director General.
Over the course of his diplomatic career, he has served in various capacities at Bangladesh missions in Russia, Oman, Kolkata and London.
