Abdus Sattar Patwari named Prime Minister’s Research Officer

The government has appointed Md Abdus Sattar Patwari as Research Officer to the Prime Minister on a contractual basis.

A gazette notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday confirmed the appointment.

According to the notification, Patwari must relinquish any other profession, business, or employment in any government, semi-government, or private organisation or institution as a condition of his appointment.

The appointment will take effect from the date he joins and will remain valid for the Prime Minister’s tenure or until the Prime Minister decides otherwise, whichever comes earlier.

The notification also stated that the remaining terms and conditions will be specified in the contract.
