UNGA President-elect Khalilur holds talks with diplomats from three countries in New York
President-elect of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Dr Khalilur Rahman, on Wednesday held separate meetings with senior officials from Slovakia, Georgia and North Macedonia in New York to discuss the priorities for the upcoming General Assembly session.
Dr Rahman met Slovakia's Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Juraj Blanár, Georgia's Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia, and North Macedonia's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Zoran Dimitrovski.
During the meetings, they exchanged views on the key priorities for the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
The President-elect reiterated his commitment to an open, inclusive and member state-led presidency focused on strengthening cooperation among all UN member states.
