Prime Minister awards Ekushey Padak

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has presented the country’s second-highest civilian honour, the Ekushey Padak.

The award ceremony commenced at 11:00am on Thursday at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital.

This year, nine eminent individuals and one institution have been recognised with the prestigious award for their remarkable and significant contributions in various fields. The event was attended by cabinet members, senior military and civil officials, invited guests, the award recipients, and representatives of the honoured institution.
