Modi extends congratulations to Tarique Rahman after BNP’s decisive victory

Narendra Modi on Friday extended his warm congratulations to Tarique Rahman for steering the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) to a decisive victory in Bangladesh’s parliamentary elections.

In a congratulatory message, Modi said the outcome reflected the confidence of the Bangladeshi people in Rahman’s leadership. He affirmed that India would continue to support a democratic, progressive, and inclusive Bangladesh.

“I look forward to working with you to further strengthen our multifaceted partnership and advance our shared development aspirations,” he added.
