Key suspect Moin, along with six others, arrested in the CKDU Hospital extortion case
He was named the prime accused in the case.
The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested prime suspect Moin Uddin Moin along with six others in connection with an extortion case involving the Center for Kidney Diseases & Urology Hospital (CKDU) in the capital’s Shyamoli area, owned by noted kidney specialist Dr Kamrul Islam.
According to a message from RAB’s Legal and Media Wing on Monday, Moin was apprehended as the main accused in the case filed over the alleged extortion incident at the hospital, where he was listed as the number one accused.
RAB also confirmed the arrest of six additional individuals linked to the same incident, though their identities have not yet been disclosed.
Earlier, four associates of Moin had also been detained.
