Hearings on appeals filed against decisions taken by Returning Officers for the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election have commenced.

The hearings began at 10:00am on Saturday at the Election Building auditorium (Basement-2) in Agargaon, Dhaka.

Md Arifur Rahman, senior assistant secretary of Law Wing-2 at the Election Commission Secretariat, confirmed the development.

According to the schedule, appeal hearings will be held daily starting at 10:00am at the same venue. Appeals numbered 01–70 will be heard on January 10, 71–140 on January 11, 141–210 on January 12, 211–280 on January 13, 281–350 on January 14, 351–420 on January 15, 421–490 on January 16, 491–560 on January 17, and appeals numbered 561 onwards on January 18.
