Blake Lively files a lawsuit against co-star Justin Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment

Blake Lively has filed a lawsuit against her It Ends with Us co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment and causing "severe emotional distress."

The lawsuit, which comes months after rumors of tension on the set of the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel, details multiple allegations regarding Baldoni's behavior during production. According to TMZ, Lively, 37, claims Baldoni made inappropriate comments about weight, discussed sexual topics, and referenced his "pornography addiction" in front of her and other cast members. She also accuses him of showing explicit images to her and making inappropriate remarks about the cast and crew's genitalia.

The suit further alleges that Lively requested specific boundaries during a meeting attended by figures including her husband, Ryan Reynolds. Among her demands, as cited in the lawsuit, were "no more showing nude videos or images to Blake," "no more adding sex scenes outside the approved script," and "no further comments about Blake's late father."

Sony Pictures, the film's distributor, reportedly approved Lively's requests. However, Lively claims in the lawsuit that Baldoni later initiated a "social manipulation" campaign to damage her reputation.

In response, Bryan Freedman, Baldoni's lawyer, issued a statement to PEOPLE, calling Lively's allegations "false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious." Freedman also accused Lively of being "difficult" on set, claiming she threatened to skip filming and promotional events, which allegedly impacted the film's release. Representatives for Lively, Baldoni, and Sony have yet to comment on the allegations.

It Ends with Us tells the story of Lily, played by Lively, who falls in love with Ryle (Baldoni), only to discover his abusive nature. The movie explores her emotional journey as her first love reappears and disrupts her life.
