The President approves Nahid's resignation

President Mohammad Shahabuddin has approved the resignation of Md Nahid Islam from his roles as Advisor to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology in the interim government.  

He accepted the resignation letter today.  

Earlier, on Tuesday, Nahid Islam submitted his resignation to the Chief Advisor of the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus.  

Nahid is the convener of a new political party set to emerge under the leadership of the youth.
