Netanyahu says Israel’s campaign in Iran is ‘far from over’

Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, has warned that the country’s military campaign against Iran is “not over yet,” saying the operation is weakening the country’s clerical leadership.

“Our aspiration is for the Iranian people to free themselves from the yoke of tyranny; ultimately that decision rests with them,” Netanyahu said during a visit to the National Health Command Centre on Monday night, according to a statement released on Tuesday. “But there is no doubt that the actions taken so far are breaking their backbone—and we are not finished yet.”
