The Prime Minister addresses the conference of Upazila Health and Family Planning Officers

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today addressed a conference of Upazila Health and Family Planning Officers at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital this morning.

He joined the programme at 11:00 am and delivered a keynote speech outlining guidance for field-level health officials.

The conference was organised by the Health Services Division under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to modernise and align the work of Upazila Health and Family Planning Officers with current needs, ensuring better delivery of healthcare services at the grassroots level.

It also aimed to brief officials on overall activities and provide them with government directives.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain and State Minister Dr MA Muhit, among others, attended the event.

During the programme, the Prime Minister presented crests to six doctors recognised under the emergency service category.
