Prime Minister test-drives student-built go-kart, applauds young innovator

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Saturday inspired a young innovator by taking a test drive in a go-kart built by college student Rijwan Rashid.

The demonstration was held at the Prime Minister’s Tejgaon office in the afternoon, where the homemade racing vehicle was put on display. The Prime Minister closely examined the go-kart, showing keen interest in its design, construction, and performance.

As a mark of appreciation and encouragement, he personally drove the vehicle, highlighting the importance of fostering creativity and technical skills among the country’s youth. Officials present at the event said he commended the initiative, noting that such efforts showcase the potential of young minds when supported with the right opportunities.
